  1. Ok, so you wanna echo FringeNet? A few rules....
  2.  
  3.   Currently, this net supports most QWK based echomail software,
  4.   including Rnet, Qnet, Tnet, and more! We also have hubs that will
  5.   echo the mail via a mailer such as FrontDoor, via Fido technology.
  6.   Please see FringeNet.FTS for a list of area names.
  7.  
  8.    1. No profanity or personal attacks in any conference, other than
  9.       LUNATICS, where anything goes. By the way, the LUNATICS conference
  10.       is restricted to those callers 18 years old, and older! :>
  11.  
  12.    2. Stay on topic for the conference you are in, so that everyone may
  13.       fully enjoy the focus of the conference
  14.  
  15.    3. As these conferences are echoed, refrain from over-quoting and
  16.       give the sysops who echo these conferences a break.
  17.  
  18.    4. REAL SOUNDING NAMES ONLY! No handles please.... No one wants to
  19.       message with DOCTOR DEATH...
  20.  
  21.    5. All FringeNet sysops and conference hosts are required to carry,
  22.       and at least read in YA mode, the ADMIN and TALK2ADMIN
  23.       conferences.
  24.  
  25.    6. HUBS are required to call into The Fringe once a day, while nodes
  26.       may call into their respective hubs NO LESS than every other day.
  27.       We want to keep the mail moving, right?
  28.  
  29.    7. All FringeNet Hubs and Nodes are required to run the CHECKREP
  30.       utilities, included in CHECKREP.ZIP in this info file.

  32.    8. Hubs are required to offer ALL FringeNet conferences to their
  33.       nodes, even LUNATICS....Of course, given the "adult" nature of
  34.       Lunatics, Hubs do not have to carry the conference on their BBS,
  35.       just offer it to their nodes...:>

  37.    9. Nothing illegal is desired, requested, or allowed!

  39.                      ********SPECIAL NOTE*************
  40.  
  41.      The ADMIN and TALK2ADMIN conferences are the only two required
  42.      conferences, and require special attention on your part. ADMIN is
  43.      for FringeNet sysops and FringeNet Hosts only! The TALK2ADMIN conference
  44.      should be open to all, but all mail in this conference on your board
  45.      must be forced private. Here's how to do it with PCBoard:
